To continuously empower our clients in cutting-edge industries, Tingfeng Hardware is excited to announce a strategic upgrade to our CNC machining department with the acquisition of three new state-of-the-art 5-axis simultaneous machining centers. This significant investment directly addresses the escalating market need for complex contour, thin-walled, and micro-featured components, particularly in the aerospace and medical device sectors.
These advanced machines unlock new frontiers in precision manufacturing for our partners:
-
Unparalleled Geometrical Freedom: The 5-axis technology allows for machining highly intricate shapes—from impellers and surgical robot joints to optical housings—in a single setup, drastically reducing lead times and eliminating cumulative errors from multiple fixturing.
-
Superior Surface Finish on Challenging Materials: We can now achieve even higher surface quality (reaching Ra 0.4μm and below) on difficult-to-machine materials like titanium alloys, Inconel, and engineering plastics (PEEK), which are critical for lightweight and biocompatible applications.
-
Enhanced Prototyping Agility: Combined with our existing Swiss-type lathes (Citizen, Tsugami) and turn-mill centers, this expansion strengthens our rapid prototyping ecosystem. We can now offer even faster and more accurate functional prototypes for design validation.
“This investment isn‘t just about adding machines; it’s about deepening our engineering partnership with clients,” said our Production Director. “When designers are freed from traditional manufacturing constraints, innovation thrives. We are now better equipped than ever to transform their most ambitious high-precision designs into reliable, production-ready reality, supporting their journey from R&D to mass production.”
This upgrade reaffirms Tingfeng Hardware‘s commitment to being a one-stop solution provider across CNC machining, cold heading, metal stamping, and custom spring manufacturing. By integrating this new capability, we ensure seamless support for projects requiring multi-process integration.
