Productomschrijving
Passivated Marine Grade Corrosion Resistant Custom Counterbore Depth For Thin Sheet Press Nut
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Press Nut with Custom Counterbore Depth for Thin Sheets
Need flush countersunk screw installation on thin sheets with marine-grade corrosion resistance? Our 316 stainless steel press nuts support custom counterbore depth for sheets as thin as 0.5mm. Passivated finish meets ASTM A967 for excellent salt spray resistance. Ideal for marine equipment and coastal outdoor enclosures. 48hr sampling.
Enhanced Performance for Soft Materials
In ship electronics or coastal outdoor equipment, standard press nuts often leave screw heads protruding above the panel surface, affecting aesthetics and exposing them to seawater corrosion. Our custom counterbore depth press nuts allow screw heads to be recessed below the panel surface for flush or sunken installation, while also protecting the screw head from mechanical abrasion.
316 stainless steel is the preferred material for marine environments; molybdenum addition resists chloride pitting. Passivation removes free iron and passes ASTM A967 neutral salt spray testing for ≥500 hours. We specifically design for sheets as thin as 0.5mm by optimizing knurl profiles and clinching parameters to prevent deformation or pull-through. Installation force and push-out force test data provided. 15 years precision experience--keeping your marine equipment fastened securely.
